Those in the international business circles, from New York to Paris and to Joberg, seem to know Mr Jho Lo more than we Malaysians do. When Malaysians speak of Jho Lo, they whisper. Some said he was close to the Prime Minister. True or not, the PM's Office should come out and tell us how close.

ReplyDeletebestnya gua jeles siot, If i a millionaire I nak amik gambar kendra wilkinson and ride the boat with her.
Malaysia, where Taek Jho Low originates from, is a country in Southeast Asia which is separated into two regions, Peninsula Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo.------http://taekjholow.blogspot.com/. What the FUCK? This country is bigger and greater than that Taek Jho Low.
ReplyDeleteThe man behind Jho Low' is the Kuwaiti called Hamad Al Wazzan. Hamad is chairman and CEO of The Al Wazzan group of companies. US Securities and Exchange Commission filings link the Al Wazzan Group to the Shaw Group, a US firm that specialises in infrastructure and energy but whose interests extend to security and defense.
ReplyDeleteThe Al Wazzan also seem to have won computing business from the US Defense Department back in 2004.More convincingly, the group themselves have a security arm called Injifa Security Services. A look at their website seems to show that they are responsible for the security of several high-profile Kuwaiti ministries, the national banks, the airport and the petroleum company. Here are a couple of screengrabs:
They also sell weapons. There are no AK-47s and cluster bombs listed for sale on the site, but you can buy body armour, batons, restraints, and what appear to be gas projectiles. One would presume that the 50mm machine guns would not, if available, be listed publicly.
There is a pretty high demand for US-friendly security in Kuwait. The country is a major staging post for US troops deploying to Iraq. A rumoured CIA black site, CAMP BUCCA Bucca, on its border with Iraq, closed in September.
Big-spending Ivy League club boy Taek Jho Low has vanished. The mysterious, jet-setting -- and jet-buying -- Wharton grad recently left his $100,000-a-month rental at the Park Imperial for parts unknown, reports The Post's Jennifer Gould Keil. Earlier this year, Low bought a pent house at 1 Central Park West for $33 million -- the priciest single-unit residential foreclosure purchase in New York history -- but we hear it isn't yet in move-in condition.

ReplyDeleteOne Malaysia Development Bhd is owned by One Malaysia development Fund, the successor of the Terengganu Sovereign Wealth Fund. Jho low is the boy who "thought" of the Terengganu Sovereign Fund which later became One Malaysia Development Fund.
ReplyDeleteOne Malaysia Development Berhad is owned by Terengganu government. That means the fund intended to develop and prosper the recipient of the oil royalty which is Terengganu directly, will just be applied to a portfolio investment - The Sungai Buloh land belonging to RRI. Where is Terengganu located and where is Sg Buluh located? are they in the same state, or is this another scam by a smart APEK with some greedy MELAYUs in KL to scam all of the poor MELAYUs in Terengganu who sould be living like SHEIKHs due to the wealth their state is blessed with?
Taek Jho Low, a 30 year old Wharton grad loves Cristal ICE. That is a sort of narcotic. Very highend.
ReplyDeleteSungai Buloh land will be developed jointly by EPF and its partners for RM10,000,000,000.. It will be led by the 1MDB- nee Terengganu Sovereign Fund. It will be advised by that splendid young man Taek Jho Low and his Kuwaiti friends. Who knows at the launching of the project we shall be entertained by the likes of Usher, J.Lo and Rihana. Let's see whether they will develop this properly directly or they will do what privileged business people do- flip deals by selling the package to another party.
ReplyDeleteOne Malaysia Development Bhd is owned by One Malaysia development Fund, the successor of the Terengganu Sovereign Wealth Fund. Does that mean that earnings going to the Terengganu Sovereign Fund/One Malaysia Development Fund will be applied to property development here in Kuala Lumpur? That will mean, that the fund intended to develop and prosper the recipient of the oil royalty which is Terengganu directly, will just be applied to a portfolio investment. This raises the question, who is advising the One Malaysia Development Fund. Are they the young boys running around with Taek Jho Low who is pressuring One Malaysia Development directors to follow their leads?
ReplyDeleteLTAT is the only component belonging to the government. The investment arm of the Qatar government is probably talked into coming in by that young Chinaman, Taek Jho Low. The Qatarian government's investment arm is obviously brokered by the Taek Jho low- the super rich kid which the Malaysian press and groveling-at-the feet- analysts readily confer extraordinary business acumen to. .
It is also rumored that this same consortium, instead of developing the land directly will be looking for parties with deep pockets (such as the Qataris and Kuwaitis) to buy the 'project' from them.
It leaves us wondering, that despite all those declarations about reformist ideas done with much fanfare, have things really changed in this country of ours?

Mystery Malaysian tycoon flew Paris Hilton to World Cup
[Above: Paris Hilton watching a game with Joey Mcfarland.]
PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian millionaire businessman had purportedly flown in Hollywood celebrity Paris Hilton to South Africa before her high-profile arrest for suspected drug abuse in Port Elizabeth.
Hilton, 29, and her friend, former Playmate Jennifer Rovero, 31, were detained after watching the Brazil-Holland World Cup quarter-final match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday.
Police said they found local marijuana - known as "dagga" - in Hilton's designer handbag.
However, the charges against her were dropped by a special World Cup court when Rovero admitted that she was the one who had the drugs.
The duo were travelling in a bus with US actor Leonardo DiCaprio when police boarded it with sniffer dogs.
The international press highlighted the story, reporting that Paris and DiCaprio were flown in from London by private jet to Johannesburg by a "mysterious Malaysian millionaire" to watch the World Cup.
The South African media had earlier reported that Hilton, along with the businessman and his entourage of 20, were whisked into a private dining room at an upmarket restaurant in Rosebank with bodyguards.
There was no other mention as to the businessman's involvement with the Hollywood stars in South Africa.
Rovero, an Amercian working as a freelance photographer at the World Cup, said in mitigation that possession of cannabis was not an offence where she came from.
An official from South Africa's Home Affairs Department told the court that he was applying for Rovero's immediate deportation.

Socialite Paris Hilton, who was arrested in South Africa for suspected drug abuse last weekend, was reportedly flown in by a Malaysian millionaire.

Could a Malaysian be behind American socialite Paris Hilton's arrest? If reports are to be believed, it could well be true.
According to AsiaOne, an unnamed Malaysian tycoon had allegedly flown in the 29-year-old hotel heiress to South Africa before her high-profile arrest for suspected drug abuse in Port Elizabeth. Several international media agencies highlighted the story, reporting that Paris was flown in from London by private jet to Johannesburg by a "mysterious Malaysian millionaire".
At the time of the arrest, Paris was travelling in a bus with her friend, former Playmate Jennifer Rovero, and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, on their way to catch the Brazil-Holland World Cup quarter final match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday (02.07.2010). According to local police, they found a packet of local marijuana known as "dagga" in Paris' designer handbag after police boarded the bus with sniffer dogs.
However, Paris walked away a free woman when the charges against her were dropped by a special World Cup court after Jennifer admitted that she was the one who had the drugs. Cover up? We have no idea.

ReplyDeleteBig-spending Malaysian is the mystery man of city club scene
By JENNIFER GOULD KEIL and BRIAN NIEMIETZ
Posted: 3:11 AM, November 8, 2009
A fleet of black Cadillac Escalades hums outside Chelsea hot spot Avenue -- the A-list watering hole of such celebrities as Justin Timberlake and Lindsay Lohan.
As the car doors open, a dozen men emerge and a bouncer whisks them over the club's threshold, past a group of shivering models behind the velvet rope.
"Who is it?" one of them wonders out loud. "Is it P. Diddy?"
But the man at the center of the entourage isn't a celebrity. He isn't even a mogul. He's Taek Jho Low, a 20-something Wharton grad from Malaysia who has burned through hundreds of thousands of dollars at the city's hottest nightspots in the last three months -- and shows no signs of stopping.
The nightlife scene is abuzz with tales of this international man of mystery -- who goes by the name Jho Low and whose chubby, bespectacled appearance hardly meets the image of a wealthy gadabout.
In September, during Fashion Week, sources said, Low helped rack up a $160,000 bar tab at Avenue, including several $900 bottles of Cristal champagne.
One month later, Lindsay Lohan was belatedly celebrating her 23rd birthday at downtown drinking den 1OAK when 23 bottles of Cristal suddenly appeared. They were reportedly paid for by a "mystery Malaysian," who, sources claim, was Low.
At chic 27th Street hangout Pink Elephant, Low routinely spends $50,000 to $60,000, according to the club's owner, David Sarner. One night, at the Pink Elephant outpost in Southampton, Low enjoyed himself so much that he kept the revelry going -- all the way to Malaysia, Sarner said.
"He ended up flying eight of our [waitresses] to Malaysia for a party," he added.
Strangely, for a man attracting so much attention, very little is known about Low.
According to his official biography, he currently serves as a group adviser of several international corporations and was appointed to the board of UBG Berhad, a financial-services group in Kuala Lumpur, last year.
But when The Post interviewed Malaysian experts at such think tank as the Council on Foreign Relations, no one had ever heard of Low.
According to inside sources, Low lives at a $100,000-a-month apartment in the Park Imperial, on West 56th Street, home to James Bond actor Daniel Craig and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs -- and he won't go anywhere, not even on the elevator, without at least one bodyguard.
Some of Low's entourage of eight to 12 people also reside in two other apartments at the Park Imperial -- a $30,000-a-month pad and a 2,200-square-foot loft with Central Park views that costs $20,000 a month, according to real-estate investor Michael Hirtenstein, who used to live in the latter.

ReplyDeleteThis is a report dated Nov. 8, 2009 by Jennifer Gould Keil and Brian Niemietz under the headline “Big-spending Malaysian is the mystery man of city club scene” published by the New York Port:
"Diddy lived right below me, and that's where his [Low's] security staff is now," Hirtenstein said. "I know because I tried getting a friend in there. My friend offered $17,000; Jho Low came in with $20,000."
But Low's flashy ways during a time of economic hardship have appalled Park Imperial residents, who complain that the building's entire staff acts like his personal servants. Every day, shopping bags get delivered from the city's biggest stores, such as Bergdorf Goodman.
And Low's caravan of Escalades constantly crowds the area outside the building, several sources said.
"It used to be that when you saw the Cadillac Escalades outside, you knew Sean [Combs] was in town. Now it's this guy," said one amused neighbor.
Speculation is brewing over where Low is getting his money from. One inside observer said, "Nobody spends their own money like that. It's just weird."
Low did not respond to e-mails for comment, and his spokesman David Tan refused to reveal his boss' birthday or background.
"Mr. Low is currently in the USA for holiday and has on several occasions stayed in New York City with his friend[s]," Tan said via e-mail. "He, however, has not rented any property or purchased any property in New York City. Mr. Low did not spend $160,000 at Avenue on one night during Fashion Week."
Indeed, Low's name is not attached to the real-estate deals sources say he is involved in.
A spokesperson for Avenue confirmed Low helped rack up a $160,000 bill in September but added: "The tab was picked up by a friend of [Low's] from Kuwait."
That friend is international man about town Hamad Alwazzan, who also lives at the Park Imperial, according to an e-mail he sent to The Post.
In the e-mail, Alwazzan claims it is he, not Low, who's the big spender in town.
"I have been on holiday in New York since August 2009 and grown quite fond of the city," Alwazzan wrote. "I am especially fond of investment opportunities in real estate, as well as the food, quality of life, and lifestyle."
As for the $160,000 bar tab, he wrote: "[It] was to celebrate the engagement of a close personal friend to his longtime girlfriend, which was jointly hosted by myself and 19 other close friends. I don't have an exact breakdown of the cost, but it was a mixture of entertainment, food and drinks -- and it happened to be during Fashion Week."
But while Low clearly prefers to stay under the radar, he is splurging at a rate that's getting noticed all over the city. According to an inside source, Low recently bought at least six exclusive memberships, for $300,000, at an upscale club in Midtown.
And just this month, sources said, Low celebrated his birthday at a lavish bash in Las Vegas -- where Megan Fox was reportedly flown in to party with him and his entourage. The actress' Fox's publicist could not be reached for comment yesterday.

ReplyDeleteUnder Badawi, we had a Malay boy who didnt work, studied in a good university and had plenty of MONEY. They called the boy K J. Under Najib (why u people call him pinky'ah?) we have a Chinese boy, who doesnt do much work, studied in a good university and has plenty of MONEY. They call this boy Jho Low.
ReplyDeleteSo has anything changed in Malaysia? Najib has just changed a Malay boy for a Chinese boy. Thats all. Perhaps this is what we call One Malaysia. If that is the case, then clearly there is some progress .....
Jho Low is also very close with Azman Mokthar maa. They did many deal together.
ReplyDeleteDakwaan pentadbiran Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Razak mengarahkan segala transaksi perdagangan minyak mesti melalui perbankan CIMB wajar dipersoal dan disiasat.
Jho Low.

ReplyDeleteUndilah Barisan Nasional. Umno pejuang hak Jho Low, perkosa wang ringgit rakyat T'gannu.
Basquale.
Hello, Jho Low is not Pinky's bagman lah. He is actually the financer of Nizam Razak, to help merge Loh& Loh Bhd, Chaya Mata Sarawak and UBG Bhd into one. Remember all that ARAB fund supposedly coming into Iskandaria, well actually it is Singaporean Funds lah, with Nizam Razak. Jho Low arranged it. The funds dried up becoz Singapore's state investment fund got into a lot of global crisis over the past two years. Jho Low also syndicated some stocks. I am not saying what he did was right, but just saying he has earned his keep and not a free loader.
ReplyDeleteInfact, Jho Low sees himself as the next Repco Low of Bursa Malaysia. And yes, Jho Low has a lot of contacts in very very high places in Singapore. Does than involve the security service and counter intelligence of the Island state? That I duno mei.
Do I know him? Yes I do.
Is Jho Low related to Joh Joh? One Theif must kno the other, even if the other says I'm jo jo not joh joh. betui tak?

ReplyDeleteIt's amusing how everyone seems to have a conclusion over what Jho's motives are and who he is.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are all wrong. Not to mention extremely pathetic, especially the loser who called him a "cina bangsat, guna duit org melayu". I'm sorry, but korang ade duit ape? Haha ;) And he doesn't need your pathetic money lah, he has loads of his own from his own family funds.
He's a good friend and a really smart student and a workaholic businessman. He has done very well for himself and is enjoying the perks.
Jho doesn't do things for mere fun. He's not even a party animal to begin with. Behind all the drinking and lavish lifestyles that you guys take so literally and stupidly, there may be potential business deals in the makings.
So sit tight, because my old friend is here to stay. And while you guys are at it, I suggest you do good and be great at your jobs as well. That's what made him who he is. You all should learn a thing or two from him.
Elah... hangat2 taek ayam aje pas tu senyap! Jollo goes on with his fun life, rakyat suffers memory loss- will get screwed over and over again. We deserve the leaders we get!
ReplyDeletei'm impressed with this taik jho low... anyone who can fuck malaysia and paris hilton at the same time is someone i will take my hat off to...

Paris Hilton does not interested with small dick but yes with big pocket.
ReplyDeleteRead Syed's post. Did you get a call from Big Momma? If you did then the case with NTV7 Cina Apek tak got his program axed is not too far from the truth huh?
ReplyDeleteIs ths Jho Low ( Jo Lo!) a replacement for Razak Baginda?
ReplyDeletesmart kid. unfortunately likely to be brought down by jealous people many years older than him, claiming he's stealing malay money. hahaha. i couldnt imagine the comedy of having these same people walk a day in his shoes.
ReplyDeleteWith VOA, not only Jho can fly in any number of party girls from anywhere in the world at anytime but others also. The minister(s) concerned got to bang them maa.
ReplyDeleteOnce you need to hit global like Jho Malaysia will come know as it is now. Chinaman like to make money not to spend money like that unless someone else's. Hope it has nothing to do with our subsidy money!

Anon,
No calls unfortunately. As for the NTV7's case, I think the NTV7 journalist (Joshua) did say that Rosmah never called him. He said he was told that Rosmah had spoken to one of his bosses.
If that was true, bad. The PM's wife has no business calling up editors and telling them what to do.
Coz the PM doesn't even do that!
Why am I a non-malay malaysians still struggling to earn a living after all these years. Something is wrong with the world or me. Bl**dy shite

Malaysian millionaire Taek Jho Low has been asked by his father to lie low after news of him and American party girl Paris Hilton exploded on the media worldwide.
Several websites were abuzz with news that Low was the “mystery man” spotted with Hilton.
She was seen at Low’s birthday celebration together with other guests recently.
Low was said to have good relations with celebrities and wealthy people from the Middle East.
His father, a businessman, told Sin Chew Daily he had told his son to be cautious with his words and actions.
According to the daily, the 28-year-old Low is the third generation of a distinguished family in Penang that is involved in property and various industries, including high technology products, in Malaysia, Singa pore and other parts of the world.
i still dont get it. do we hate him because he's rich? or smart? or partying with celebs? because he's chinese?
ReplyDeletewah sebegitu jealous ke kite? tak malu.
budak kampong baru, u pergi masuk wharton dulu, baru cakap. suruh mara sponser. free je, jgn takut. ini kan negeri ko.
we need more self esteem man, this is pathetic.

ReplyDeleteNo, lah - the simple truth is that all the wannabe puritans out there are s**t jealous of Jho Low and his living the high life with scant regard to Malaysian concepts of morality where the sins of the flesh are liable to be condemned with strictures and admonishments, if not threats of corporal punishment.
The flesh pots of Singapore beckon, my friends.......Plenty of partying going on there, with the finest of wines and foods, if you know what I mean.
what a joke.....well, he enjoyed every moment the money that he spent...from where.... well, from all of us who pay tax to the country!!!!well done rakyat!!!
ReplyDeleteNow with all the latest news on Jho Low, all we can say is Fcuk to those who wrote brainless sensation comments. A middle figure to Latuk Locky for his contribution
ReplyDeleteSalam Satu Malaysia
ReplyDeleteDear anonymous whom post racist comments on Chinese do u have shame showing your bodoh attitude to nationwide what if the guy is Malay? There is two kind of people in this world no actually three, 1) educated 2) uneducated and finally 3) low life and uneducated. I believe you fall on the latter my friend.
If he sucking Malay money, the government will have the expertise and facilities to prove it, if the Govt can’t prove it, it mean something here???
Is he really sucking money or he is a tool to suck money and later to share it?
If he really guilty I suggest we instate special one time off hudud law on this guy, because others Chinese didn’t get any share out of it but just insults on our integrity.
I just signed up to your blogs rss feed. Will you post more on this subject?
