84 Jalan Tangsi. I have started a new blog to let Netizens know of what the National Press Club has been up to and what it's planning to do. Also my take on matters with regards to journalism, the state of our Press, its relationship with the government, the people, and everything else.
The birth of the new blog's timed with the World Press Freedom Day tomorrow. The National Press Club and the National Union of Journalists are planning an event together in conjunction with this day soon. A discourse on Press Freedom, involving this side of politics with the other side.
I'll be posting the details, here, in the next couple of days.

BLOGGERS PLEASE DON'T SQUABBLE
ReplyDeleteFellow bloggers please don't ever squabble
Wasting time bursting each other's bubbles
Let us not be distracted from the real targets
And simply waste all our valuable blogging bullets

Fri. 1st May 2009.
Hope this blog will put out news that papers ignore.
ReplyDeleteWe will see.....
Malaysiakini besides RPK are the two blogs that allow readers and think.
Will this blog be fair and just...with love for Malaysians or is an objective for selfish needs and wants?
Put out the questions and answers in your Press blog that one cannot read in papers.
We have enough so call good news from papers!
You have so much energy.
Make sure you do not burn the candle at both ends.
Lu canggih Rocky!

ReplyDeleteWay to go, bro.
ReplyDeleteRocky,
ReplyDelete1. I believe bloggers can really make a huge difference in shaping public's opinion.
2. Controversial issues such as the Labu airport, IJN, Sime Darby scandals are just some of the example of how blog can be useful to everyday people like you and me.
3. I would love to see more bloggers urging/scrutinizing the government on daily events/issues that directly affect the people.
4. One example is the high price of chicken. I really hope some bloggers out there can start a crusade to persuade the government to take a tough stand on the price of chicken issue.
5. Enough of political talks. We are all fed-up with it.
What sinister plot have you up you sleeve, may I ask o wise one? Another blog in your efforts to be a power broker? Anyway, best of luck. The country is in a state of disrepair anyway, how much more damage can anyone do?
ReplyDeleteSudah Giveup
Focky Bru for press freedom??? Hahahahaha. What a joke you are. Just like your long hair. Just collect your checks from unmo and shut up lah.
ReplyDeleteTakdak credibility bro.

Simply want to accuse. If you were Rocky, I think you will want to be a prostitute. Becos, you think if you so influential like Rocky, you sure want to jual yourself.
Sorry, beb....
You sure don't berani to say that to Rocky! Tau takut!!!
Bro, semua orang sudah tahu lu punya ceritalah...cukuplah. Just collect your $$$ from UMNO and Mahathir boys and shutuplah. Your game is up...semua orang kampung dah tahu. Sebelum Mac 8, bodek Anwar, selepas itu bertukar pulak. Now, you are a mercenary writer, a gun for hire. You like to label others as Singapore operative...but you also run down this country in Singapore paper. WTF lah? Anyway, it is a free country...
