Trying to please the police
The people will pay for it

He gave the AG one year to draft the laws
He took 2 years with a watered down draft
And the government tried to pass it through
The opposition parties protest
The NGOs didn’t agree
Now the sleeping waves
Stop it for another consultation
This is buying time
The incompetent fools we have
The Royal Commission recommended it
The power that is would want to change
To smooth the right and left
